Re: Northern Bedford
Agreed, Northern's pitching was dominate even for a scrimmage. Fluke, Grace, England, Foor, and Diehl all pounded the zone with very few walks. The Panthers were also very strong at the dish except for only a few k's. Fury also looked good only allowing 2 passed balls, and shooting the ball very well. Look out Northern could be a power house this year in D5 A.

NB opens the season Friday @ home vs everett. NB has been doing some intense practices. They have been leaving the practice field drained. I think NB is going to be ready and come out of the gate hard and put up alot of W's. There is alot of tremendous skill and athletic ability on this team.

I agree NB hasnt left the practice field before 6:10 once this year. Almost 3 hours of practice everyday. Also NB's pitching staff headed by David McIlnay has been running more than any pitching staff around. They should be very well conditioned and with the talent they have should have a great start and put up many W's.

I'm glad Central doesn't have to face them.

C'mon guys...
NB is better than this and I don't mean as a team. Let other people talk about your success if they want. You don't talk yourself up. To compound things this is a deep team and there are plenty of talented players. Relax and let the coaches coach. You guys all know I'm from NB and what I've seen isn't good and isn't NBC sports. Like I said, play the game so well that others talk about you.
Arguing starters and all that kind of stuff only rips teams apart too. Everyone who deserves a shot will get it at some point....

Re: Northern Bedford
After attending the game here is my insights.
1st Everett is a really good baseball team....They have a nice 1-2 punch on the mound with Droz and Foor.
2nd They are no way 11 runs better than NB, lately NB has been a little slow at starting but they will come together.
3rd The BEST 9 players were in the lineup......meaning the best 9 bats were in the lineup.
Finally.....People just need to respect coaching decisions... Coach Mac is trying to win balls games no matter what the lineup is, just be patient. What are your coaching credentials? Have you coached past league league? Or are you just that bleachercoach?

Re: Northern Bedford
Just wondering who you think should be playing? Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. I think the best 9 bats were in the lineup as far as a pitching rotation goes I would be Fluke, Grace, then pick one between Foor, England, and Diehl, if we get rainy weather and games get pushed back and teams are playing 5 games a week sounds like a scary team to me.
