Is there a team that can stop Ligonier Valley?
Is there a team that can stop Ligonier Valley?
Will Ligonier Valley breeze through their class A schedule like last year?
(Then the first AA school will sink them.)

LV will cursh everyone on their schedule including Windber this week. I think they would have a good chance against seeds 5 - 8 in AA but cannot compete with top three (assuming they will be around 4 seed).
Playing an A schedule all year does really hurt.

Will they be shown the door in the Heritage Conference?
Or do they have enough political clout to stay?

Is there a potential replacement for LV? If not that leaves each team with only a 7 game schedule, making the schools go find three games each. Not an easy task, may not be 24 games out there to be had.

Regarding replacements in the Heritage Conference:
Will a team want to leave the WesPac to come to the Heritage?
How about these teams for a Heritage replacement:
Leechburg and Apollo Ridge. Will they come knocking?
Seems they are getting really frustrated where they are.
West Shamokin is now out of the picture. With the addition of Elderton students (Elderton students weren't included in their last enrollment numbers submitted to the PIAA) they will surely be back in class AA after next season. I don't think the Heritage will replace a AA school with another AA school. Or will they in West Shamokin's dismal situation?

Penns Manor will beat them this year. NC loss really awakened that team i feel. Best loss they could of had. Plus that game is in PM which means no bad LV refs that usually happens in big games there.

Do you think a possible merger of the the heritage and west pac is possible, say a east and west division? They could expand their inter league play.

That sounds familiar

That's a good idea. They could call it the Appalachian Conference. I wonder if Bishop Carroll would leave the LHAC to balance it out.ramfan wrote:Do you think a possible merger of the the heritage and west pac is possible, say a east and west division? They could expand their inter league play.
