Re: My Division System for Pennsylvania A
32 teams can be possible... I like mc vs elks... That just has the feel of a potential rivalry. Division 2 and 7 are kinda powerhouses. I loved to see a portage BC and ba BG rivalries. The far east and far west are nice because they are pretty north south district based, but the middle of pa.. Wow d6, 5, 4 and 9 are super east west based. I know I had to screw teams in those divisions because I just didn't want to look up 40+ school locations. So I could of done a Much much better job

I agree piaa will not change. Their only caring for playoffs begin this week to state. Anything before is not their concernWrasslerfan wrote:while its a good idea konjo I don't think it will happen the piaa will never adopt it I like it the way it is

Jeanette would be a good fit in 15 prob just win it every year, and being a portage fan I would hate to see this implicated, that would be the second hardest in the state to win behind number 2, I'd like to see less regular season games and a bigger state playoff system

AA schools like Everett would end up traveling all over like Ridge does. Southern Huntingdon would play ??

It is a super tough division but unfortunately between most of d5, d6, d9 it was just hard to keep thing all close together. I wanted to put northern, carrol, portage and penns manor in the same division but putting 4-5 more schools with them without making another division be super far away was hard. I really didn't like puting portage and BC there.

I haven't yet looked at AA. I woud imagine AA would be must simpler for our area, LHAC teams would probably be in one division or split into mainly LHAC and then ICC and MAC would probably join.footballguy99 wrote:AA schools like Everett would end up traveling all over like Ridge does. The most recent realignment for public v non pubic was the closest vote ever for the situation. Remove all non publics from the 25% calculation per enrollment class. Once all classes are calculated, put the no publics in the numerical place that they fall into. The greater majority of the non pubs moved up a class. Some moved two. A few of the really small ones stayed. If this one didnt go through, not sure what would. I don't see the current system changing. Definitely makes it tougher for the small public that gets their team of a lifetime to get that state championship opportunity.
