last I looked, there's only 1 "All-State" team for each class, the rest are area and conference all-star teams. Personally, I think it's an honor for any player to make any of those teams even if it is one man's opinion. If a local news paper takes notice and you get nominated for your area team, it also means you had a good year. Calling all the other all star teams "youkle" teams isn't fair.

For crying out loud, some kids get recognized, no matter by whom or what entity, for their athletic ability and some people can't let that be but have to find fault with it? What the heck is wrong with you people? Are your lives really that miserable you have to find fault with THIS? Un-freaking-believable. Merry Christmas INDEED.

This is the only REAL all state team I should say. the "whogivesacrap.com" all state team means...well zero. the "Joe Shmoe blogger" all state team means....well zero. You can't honestly sit there and say the "Joe Shome I have a website" all state team mean NEARLY as much as the Writers All State team? I doesn't. To the young men who made THE REAL all state team, CONGRATS! The other "all state" teams, while it's something to be proud of, it's kind of like getting a participation certificate in AYSO soccer. =))

Are you trying to say Peyton there is a reason some people are professional writers and some are just bloggers and we should leave the respectable awards for the professionals?

You mean a blog is just there for fun and viewing pleasure and to bring interest to the areas sports teams and it would be crazy to get up in arms about a list somebody made in their spare time for free. I just don't understand why you have to put something down if you don't like it. It's not like your paying for the content, it's just for fun.

They put it on here... They act as if they are better than anyone else because they have a website. Hell the minute someone gives an actual criticism they cry why don't you do it!

It doesn't matter if I do it or not if you are going to make it public you can't complain and act like a child when someone calls it BS. Then to top it off when the states all state list comes out from writers they come on here and make snudy childish remarks because someone hurt their feelings! This list is balanced and well made why make a sarcastic comment on it?

If you are going to act like a you are a knowledgeable solid writer/mod you should act like one too. When you don't people start to see through the smoke and mirrors

Konjo, Crimson knows more about area football than you will ever know. For some reason you seem to criticize his work more often than not. He puts a lot of time into his work and gives us something to read and enjoy for free when in reality he doesn't have to do any of it. If you don't like it then don't read it or comment about it. It's one thing to criticize someone's work who writes and does it for their job and gets paid to do it but to criticize and be disrespectful to someone who is doing it for free and for our enjoyment is ridiculous.
