Well if they play in any other state other than Pennsylvania, they've probably played a down by now.

Nothing new. Every team ranked in the top 10 has 16+. Michigan has 23. A lot of kids like to have their commitment out of the way prior to the start of their senior season so they can just enjoy it.

So the kids want to have their commitment out of the way early. So? But do teams REALLY want their next years roster just about filled up before any recruit has taken a snap? And what about those kids who are late bloomers. And what about those who don't pan out as a senior. Then what. And of course, the kid can jump ship any time he wants.

Obviously it's not too much of a concern cuz it's pretty much how it works. You make some valid points but it's how the recruiting game works.

4* Philadelphia TE Naseir Upshur expected to announce his commitment today. Upshur is ranked as the #4 prospect in PA by 247 and #5 TE in the country. Projected to be a heavy FSU lean but Michigan, Miami, Arizona St., and S. Carolina are also considered in the mix.

Pitt landed the best player in the Pittsburgh City League, Therran Coleman. Consensus 3 star and top 15 player in the state. He chose Pitt over Arizona State, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, and WVU. 2 former Pitt coaches, Backyard Brawl rival, and divisional rival. Nice recruiting win for Pitt.

Adam McLean did not academically qualify and has been dropped from Marylands roster. It appears that the rumors that he had his offer pulled by PSU for academic reasons were true. To bad for him, he seemed like a nice kid.

As expected, 4* shooting guard and #2 ranked PA prospect Lamar Stevens committed to Penn State over the weekend. This is Penn State's 4th commit for the class of 2016 and puts Penn State solidly in the top 10 nationally.
