I'm just going to say there are some very negative things going on in the Portage system right now and its crumbling from the inside out. It met its combustion point on the sideline and in the locker room after the WestPac Championship game. As much as I don't want to say it, this team/staff has self destructed mentally and physically and will get handled easily by Bellwood come Saturday night. I look for some significant changes coming to our program before next season.

As far as the rest of D6 A and my predictions...Bishop Guilfoyle is still the clear cut favorite and It would take a pretty good upset IN MY OPINION if they don't win the title. Now I haven't seen Penns Manor in person and I hear they do have a solid squad, however still give me the Marauders in a head to head by at least 2 TD's to anyone else in D6A.

I think this weekend will give us a better picture as to how good Penns Manor really is. If they come out and obliterate Westmont, we'll be able to see if they are a legit contender against BG.

I've seen BG, Portage,Berlin and PM play. BG is the favorite this year obviously... but PM is legit this year as well. The true test will be to see how PM handles Westy, their big up front and have a decent run game, but the comets defense is very solid and well coached. I think PM rolls over Westy and Mo valley granted they beat Northern Cambria. Them give BG a run for their money by 10 points PM 33 BG 23!!

So what you are saying is that PM is better than Clairton

Depth in the line, and tons of senior leadership.

If anything is clear from last year clairton doesnt have solid leadership.

Westmont and Heights rely on their big offensive lines and methodically run the football.
If they are able to do this and shorten the game, they have a chance to make things interesting.
The problem is doing it consistently over four quarters and scoring on 90% of their possessions.

Heights has a better defense then Westmont but a tougher opponent.

In the end look for the skill players  from PM and BG to take over and dictate the outcome.

Northern Cambria has been very inconsistent and MoValley very consistent--- enough said.

Portage may be better than Bellwood but if there are truly internal problems in Garyville, I'll take the Blue Devils.

Agreed reugenev, Heights has been improving just as Westmont has. Pm will have to play a tough 4 qrtrs if they are to win. I can see wh keeping them on their toes. The real interesting match up is BA Port. Looking forward to see what BA has done since I've last seen them

I like BA coach Hayes a knack for this time of year. Sticking Burch in a more athlete roll and Taneyhill at qb has done wonders. Taneyhill is young but he can throw the ball all over don't count the Blue Devils out. I'm a Tyrone grad and fan so I know not to overlook them.

My last post I'm saying I'm taking BA over Portage.
