It was funny just 2 weeks ago some said they would challenge Ligonier for the Heritage.

Yes, West Shamokin did not win a game for the first several years they were in existence. But, they have done much better the last few years. They beat Purchase Line last year week 10 at P L 38 to 14. Thus, this is the first time P L or any Heritage team will be going to   W S.

United is well coached and certainly could surprise PM.  The team that surprises me in a good way is Blairsville.  Has anyone seen them play?  Are they actually any good?  I feel like they are due for a let down, and MC will find a way to hang close with them.

I think Blairsville has too many skill positions for MC to hang with.  MC's strength is going to come with their 300 pouund horses up front.  Bville just creates matchup problems and with as well as they've executed in weeks 0 and 1 I don't see MC stopping them.  MC is built for a matchup against someone like United or Laurel Valley teams of the late 90s and early 2000s

I don't think this MC team is hanging with those Laurel Valley teams...  I do think they at least have a chance to stick with Blairsville.

I was more speaking towards the Power-I "I'll run it down your throat" type of football that they played under coach page.  Marion Center's front is more at an advantage towards a team like that than they are against a team with quicker skill players.  The advantage of playing a Iso or Power I offense like that is why I emntioned they will fair better against a team like united.  I was more speaking in regards of the X's and teh O's and not the Jimmys and the Joes.
