Except Smith wasn't hurt... The game became too much for him, knowing he was outmatch sevearly, He hasn't played in  a big game in his life. Jackson liggys#12 was such a better athlete in that game and all around in my opinion, he almost beat PM last year if it wasn't for PMs defense in that game, all I'm saying is we will see how smith fairs in a big game with high expectations, calls, hits etc... there's a difference between being good and great,Collin Smith is a good player.

Collin Smith is a great player, no one better who buckled a chinstrap in this area this year.   Come down and watch him score and score and score Friday night.

Meh he's been talking up Penns Manor on every topic they might have relativity in so his post on this topic is what you'd expect. If Colin Smith was a Comet he'd probably be saying he's going to be at the Helm of Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State(etc) next year and a Top 10 NFL Pick within the next 3 years. Which basically what Enzo does on the Ligonier side.

I would say he is great for the area. State level he would be good. Not taking anything away from the kid I love seeing locals get to play at the next level at a good school.

The good thing is he's going to WVU, if he sticks it out we'll see a lot of him on TV. Excited for that

I doubt the kid ducked out and faked an injury to avoid Penns Manor. If he's afraid of the big stage, why not just commit to IUP instead of WVU?

I love this site! The people on here taking shots at Collin Smith are the same ones that did it 3 years ago when Alec Bloom was at LV. You know the "he's not great, just good"...or "he's not a D1 player"....all Alec Bloom has done is go to UCONN and start every game the last 3 years at TE and worked his way into a projected 4th round NFL draft pick before the start of this season....let's try to encourage these young athletes and support them....it will only help our area in the recruiting....every opponent that plays against Smith will have the opportunity of a D1 coach seeing them on film as well...it only helps...

Playing tight end UConn and matching up with some of the stud receivers playing in the Big12, quite different. Good luck to him regardless.

Predicting draft outcomes one year from now is stretching it, so trying to go two years out is downright futile. That said, I count at least 13 guys who should have a solid shot come draft season 2018: Cole OrmsbyE.J. LevenberryJunior Joseph, Cam Stapleton, Foley Fatukasi, Tre' Bell,Tommy MyersAlec Bloom,

Where am I missing the fourth round part for a guy that might come out in next year's draft?   Keeping tooting that Heritage horn, bro
