How's Tanneyhill's mobility, I've heard he's pretty much strictly a pocket passer?

Like Lester being strictly an on the mound pitcher

I like that Hank the cut down 30 trees with one swing. Seems Colin Smith is reaching that legend status around here. Next they will be saying he's he greatest player to come out of d6. Im not bashing him by saying that he is a Phenomenal player. At LV he is definitely the face that runs the place.

Not bashing him either and wish all local kids the best at the next level but I didn't see the legend the 3 times we played them. Might just be that his OL didn't give him a chance. Who knows.

7' 1", he can cut down 30 trees with one swing of an ax. Legend says he can swim through land. He has one speed and it's that logo on your tractor's throttle that looks like a rabbit.

He is a pocket passer, not very mobile. But this is probably the best passing attack BA has ever had, or if not in a VERY long time. Coach Hayes is known for the "Ground-N-Pound" offensively philosophy but when you have a QB like Tanneyhill it's hard not to throw the football.

Kid is a really good player.  I wouldn't expect those numbers to continue in the playoffs though.  There will be pressure because of better defensive lines and teams that have a clue on how to play pass defense against the spread, with better athletes to defend the fade route.   I assume he'll see a zone blitz for the first time all season during the playoffs.  However, I still look for him to be successful in playoffs, just not to the same extent.

There are a lot of players that are recruited, there are a lot of high school players with unbelievable stats, its a matter of how they translate to the college game. On top of that there is the class load, the football meetings, that get over at 9 PM, the 6 AM wake up to hit the weights, film study, and competing against every other stud that committed to the team from high schools all over the state or country. A lot to handle

Glad for all recruits, but its a tough adjustment, and a lot are on the sidelines the first couple of years waiting their turn. That's not what they are used to. Not many succeed as we all know

After watching Smith's Senior highlight film on Hudl, I do think they he is a great offensive player and asset to LV, but personally it was nothing I haven't seen before on a football field running or passing. IMO players like Will Seymour and Ferens had a better running "sense". Not taking anything away from Smith, he is a special player nonetheless, just think that's why he is more of a defense recruit.
