This game lived up to all expectations. Cecere is truly impressive. Poise, touch under pressure, runs like a fullback, puts the longball on the money. BG capitalized on a turnover and bungled punt to go ahead. At any time during that game if I had to put money on the team more likely to pull off an 80-yard drive it would have been FH. BG struggle to establish the run through 3 quarter. I had some doubt that BG could run the clock for the last 6 minutes. They just keep finding a way to win.
I sat beside a fan who attends State College High games. He said the crowd (granted--a few of them might have been there hoping to see the streak broken)was bigger than State High crowds at Memorial Stadium. He was shocked to see such a turnout for a single A school. His comment "This is like Texas". Fantastic atmosphere.

Lol like Texas?! I didn't think there was 30,000 people there last night. State College plays teams over an hour away....a lot of fans won't travel that far for a blowout. There was more people at the FH- Jtown game.

More people at Jtown vs. FH game, now that's funny, there were more people on BG side than at whole Jtown- FH game. I've at a lot of Jtown games, lucky if they have 1,000 people at any game even when they are playing good.GoldenRamsFAN wrote:Lol like Texas?! I didn't think there was 30,000 people there last night. Not even close buddy FH place was packed for that game...
Re: Game of the week? FOREST HILLS VS BISHOP GUILFOYLE
Think you may have visual perception deficit, Mansion park holds max 11,000 people, it was probably 60% full not counting those not in seats, guessing, 6-7,000 people there last night, your lucky if FH max seat capacity is 4,000, anyhow this a stupid argument so I'm done, in the end it was a great game last night.GoldenRamsFAN wrote:Not even close buddy FH place was packed for that game...

Read in the tribune that Jon Long had the 82 yard TD reception....must have switched jerseys with Forest Wolfhope on that play.

BG draws very well for a Class A team. Kinda tough to judge since they have the biggest stadium in the LHAC but they get good crowds.
Very different from 5 years ago. Winning helps.

Yeah, the Trib reporter blew that one, along with the many no-calls from the zebras. We were screaming, "Run, Forrest, RUN"! Going for it on 4th and 1 from your own side of the 50 was a Brandon-like call. Not smart. You are as likely to see FH fans on the home side of Mansion as the visitors. Many, especially older fans, of Ranger nation just WILL NOT walk to the other side.Skippy wrote:Read in the tribune that Jon Long had the 82 yard TD reception....must have switched jerseys with Forest Wolfhope on that play.
