I hadn't put a lot of thought into it, but maybe treat it like a 5-second call. Lose possession. I know, its probably a dumb idea.

But imagine going to say Ferndale, where they are barely fielding a team and saying now you have to spend $xx amount of money to buy shot clocks and pay someone to man them because some coach in Pittsburgh feels better about his team losing 6-4 than 60-40. That sounds dumb also.

I am all for a shot clock. It will keep the game moving, and the flow would be better. As far as the paying and manning it and running it. That’s easy to figure out. Instead of paying all the superintendents 100k in each school make it like every other state and have 1 per district. It would save all the small schools money and could put the money elsewhere.

This state is very far behind when it comes to sports, and the PIAA keeps getting more money. This past basketball season showed it. All they care about is money. Especially in this area.

Just gave it. 1 superintendent per district. Like every other state has. Have your private and public state championship, like every other state. This state lives in the past and always will. Make marijuana recreational to use in this state like a lot of other states, tax the hell out of it, and boom would be flourishing over night. Ask other states how well they are doing economically.

Do you mean one superintendent by county and not school district? Like they have in Maryland.
