Quarterfinals

Post by LeeCorso »

Bishop Guilfoyle, Richland, Penn Cambria, Hollidaysburg, State College…who is the most likely to win?

Also does anyone have insight into why Hburg and PC are playing so far away when they were the top of the bracket team in their respective matchups? Was hoping the would both be closer so that I had more options of games to watch.

Don't they still alternate sites from year to year, closer to one than the other, and the following year it goes the other way?

I think BG cruises past Westinghouse. BG probably won't be as athletic as Westinghouse but like last year they will be better coached, more disciplined, and better up front. Farrell will be too athletic and have too much speed for Richland. I like PC against Sharon. If PC wins this week it will be the end of the line for them with who they will have to play next week. I think Roman Catholic will be too much for Hollidaysburg, And PCC too much for State College. Best of luck to all local teams!

Odd that Richland-Sharon has no NFHS coverage, yet most if not all the rest of the games do.
