I don't know what the parameters are, but for BG, you would assume two District titles, a state title and a state runner-up in a two-year cycle would be enough success to get bumped.

I say that, but Southern Columbia has never not been AA, so who knows what the rules actually are.

Right i think they have some dirt on someone in the PIAA to never get moved up.

You have to have 5 transfers after 9th grade now for football in addition to the success points to get moved up. So unless BG has that, they are staying in 1A.

I had this thought: Bedford, and Somerset, both play a predominant D6 schedule, yet when post season starts, they are thrown into a 5-8-9 playoff. WTH.

Looks like the next two years it’ll be Mccort vs BG for the single A title. Everyone else might as well pack it in.

I was watching one of the playoff games. The announcer said if Quips won they would be AAAA if they lost AAA next year. They won so if we go by that they will be AAAA. BG in my opinion should at least be AA based on the success factor alone.

The success factor only matters if there are a certain number of transfers after 9th grade, it’s why SC has stayed the same
