Ticket pricing

Post by Crimson's Ghost »

Last week I attended a District Six playoff basketball game and a WPIAL playoff game.

District Six price at the door is $10, maybe $8 online ahead of time.

The WPIAL game was simply $6 at the gate for adults.

What does District Six use those extra $4 for on ticket prices?

I’ve noticed a significant spike in prices this winter. Jr. High wrestling tournament at CC was $20 per person. Wife and I brought $40 thinking we would have enough left over to grab a drink or snack at the concession stand and we were wrong. Other tournaments were similar in pricing so not taking shots at CC that was just the first one I thought of.

LHAC DH @ SFU was $10 for 2 games. FH girls @ Tyrone was $10 for 1 game. We'll see what it is @ the Mount tonight for 2 games D6 4A championships. PIAA bites. Gouging at its finest.
