for the size of forbes road, like 3rd or 4th smallest in D5 they have great fan support, who can forget the cardinal crazies of a few years back and..........the sound of the barn on the night of a mcconnelsburg game or tussey game is deafening and the gym is crazy

hey fan which game was that? bc i can definetly tell you your fans wasnt the loudest as mcburg fans the night of the girls game, but the night of the boys game was bc half of our cheering section wasnt there. but you defintely did not have us beat the night of the district game. not whenever we had the whole student section of the gym chantin "pork and beans". although i will give it to forbes you do have a pretty loud crowd

NS SUPPORT

Post by PITTBBALL23 »

well i dunno wat happend...tho the ns students r into "SOME" games....they arent like they were 2-3 years ago...no chest paints...only in to a few games...look at the weak pac championship, shanksville's section was way louder and they were losing like 16-2 in the first quarter so whoever said they r into every game is wrong cuz i attend a lot of games and i seen much better then this from the ns section

CT goes crazy with the game. Chest painting, yelling, chants for everything, some of the stuff they say is crazy.

rightfielder, McConnelsburg's fans should in all rights be louder than forbes.......i mean mcconnelsburg has 220 students compared to forbes' 119 (piaa.org/district5), so mc is nearly double the size of forbes road

for forbes' size, the crowd support is extraordinary, and for a Forbes/McConnelsburg game, if the crowd isnt into it........its not a forbes/mcconnelsburg game, the environment of the gym on those nights is untouchable

when the mcconnelsburg fans start chanting s-p-a-r-t-a-n-s to the forbes chant of c-a-r-d-i-n-a-l-s, it is what high school sports is all about and it doesnt matter who is louder, the heart of every fan is in the gym where it should be

Northern Bedford has some great and loyal fans but have fallen off since the drop of the team the last few years!! NB has some great fan support where ever they went in the playoffs and especially at home in the Panther Dome.

The terror dome has some fan support. Even though they had an off-season, the games that were important; the atmosphere at the terror dome is unbearable.

I think Southern has the best student section for both guys and girls game and wrestling matches...I mean it isn't a very big group of people but they are louder than some of the bigger groups!...Even when either group is down they are still there supporting them 110%....If you would have looked at the girls' basketball district game you would have seen the students there still cheering on the girls down to the last second...The next day if you would have been at District 6 wrestling regionals you would then see some of the same faces and some different faces there cheering on the wrestlers! They will go as far as they able to, to watch and cheer on each group!

Does Ryan Wilt coach there still. Last I heard, he was the boys JV coach. I played ball with Ryan in HS.
