They just lost. I can't believe it. They had the big lead and blew it. It really doesn't matter though. They'll be a #2 seed. I see them still making it to the Elite 8.

Seems to me they lost there composure for about 3-4 minutes that cost them this game. Didn't help that Uconns point guard hit some key baskets down the stretch. They play great man to man defense. Julius page Didn't do much on off tonight because he was guarding this PG from UConn. WIth his scoring in the big dance Pitt is a threat to make it to sweet 16 elite 8 but I don't see them going to final 4.

that pg, actually shooting guard, from uconn has a name and it is ben gordon, big east tounament mvp. julius page is a tremendous defender but still could not prevent gordon from willing uconn to a victory. pitt had nobody to step up at the end of the game to make a shot and uconn did. thats how u win close games between two evenly matched teams. uconn w/ a 75% okafor and no charlie villenueva still proved to be the better team than the panthers on the neutral court.

Pitt just lost it. They practically had the trophy and the championship in their hands and they blew it like a cheap hooker. With the way UConn came back they deserved to win. Even I'll admit that. Pitt got into another shooting slump over the last 8 minutes of the game and couldn't get the high percentage shots to fall like they needed. I still think they'll do just fine in the Big Dance, anyway. This prolly knocked them from a 1 seed to a 2, but never the less....Let's go Pitt.

Yes, you would think that Pitt would've got a #2 seed. But I guess that loss was a lot worse than we all thought. They dropped to a #3 seed  .
