Worst Sports Movies

Post by foghorn »

Let's discuss some of the real stinkers -- sports movies that just didn't get it right. I'll start by nominating Season on the Brink, the howler by ESPN about Bobby Knight. I thought it was bad in every way imaginable, but I felt the game play scenes were really bad.

I thought the remake of Brian's Song was rotten too. I forgot to put the original with James Caan and Billy Dee Williams on my best list.

Mighty Ducks 2 wasn't bad... but I'll agree with you on #3. Bend it like Beckham is hands down the worst sports movie of all time.. and i even like soccer.

I thought Bend It Like Beckham was pretty good, though it was definitely a chick flick
