just so everyone knows, if you were to meet me in real life, you would see a much different, and more kind Gunner than what you see here, i wouldn't even use 95% of the stuff i say on here as toilet paper...it means that much, lighten up take a joke, and use what i say as motivation...if i were you guys, i would be printing out copies of every negative thing i say about your team and posting them up in the locker room so that you have something to get you pumped up before each game. but what would i know about winning im an uneducated hick from bedford, yeehaw....but before you go calling people uneducated, you should really get to know them first, or at least do a little research about them...here ill help you out...my IQ is around 162 depending on which test score you look at, a category "Genius" IQ is somewhere around 165 or higher i believe, but since i'm 3 points short, i guess that does make me uneducated
...this post is dedicated to Coach's grammar pet peeve....
PS to show theres no hard feelings, the Gunner will be in Fishertown friday night decked out in a Bedford jacket of some kind

STRAIGHT
After close consideration, and then factoring in all the injuries from claysburg, I would have to give the nod to .......yes....claysburg still. They are definantly smaller, but quicker. If they can just defense the passes of Barefoot, they will run the ball down Ridge's throat ("True" Lingenfelter Football). If Ivan shows up, which he will, there should be a lot of mud, to help C-K's defensive backs.
It'll be a great game - Definant ICC quality ball

BTW Gunner we weren't 0-8 every year back then. We beat Vo-Tech while they had a team.

Kohlslaw, that isn't much of an accomplishment. I think Tussey Mountain could have beaten Vo Tech back then. I saw that Richland once ran over them to the tune of 80-0. Ouch!
As far as Ridge and respect and whatever, I think that to be considered a true powerhouse, yes, Ridge does need to win a few playoff games. There are a few tough teams on the regular season schedule, most notably Bishop Guifoyle and Bellwood, but there are few AA teams on it. I did go to Ridge, and I rooted for Ridge each game, and I was hoping last year that I'd get to see a playoff game vs. Bedford. So I respect that they have a good program. I respect almost any team that is willing to put their hearts and souls into the game. However, to prove that they are just as good as any other AA program, they are going to have to win a few playoff games, and/or play a quality team, like Forest Hills or Bishop McCort, really close.
And as far as this weekend, Ridge goes 3-0 and Bedford falls to 2-1, which proves nothing as far as which is the better team. But I think Ridge should be able to put a serious beating on Claysburg. Also, after last year's successful season, I think Ridge should have a shot at going unbeaten. The two biggest roadblocks are BG, which already fell, and Bellwood. A few other teams have a shot as well, like Moshannon Valley or NBC (if they are really rebuilt and good this year). However the key to going undefeated for Ridge will be for any players who read this to forget it immediately, and not look past any team, or buy into how good they are. It's like the New England Patriots. Any success they had last year is history, and now they have to go and earn their way to the Super Bowl all over again.

Re: RIDGE VS. CLAYSBURG
We are not looking ahead to the end of the season. We take the year 1 game at a time. And the next test is Claysburg who, yes has a good team and will be a good test for us!! So am personally looking forward to this game!!

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach
