Re: The (AA) Playoff Picture
Bison1, I remember Bedford players doing the same thing last year. Get on here and say they are going to have the greatest game of the year each week and how good they were, then flop come game time. And they still brag up Bedford every chance they get.
Re: The (AA) Playoff Picture
That was last year, this years team hasn't done that all year. Not sure where the comparison is coming from but good try.

They might have been, i dont honestly remember but that's not even mainly what my post is about.
People are going to brag...it's human. In a place with as many diverse users as bleachercoaches, bragging is inevitably going to tick someone off and cause a reply, most likely with an adverse opinion.
My post was directed mainly to those who feel posting of personal opinion isn't acceptable. I'm not about to try and stop bragging. That would never work, and would end up making this site boring. Just hoping some will realize that just because someone thinks differently than they, doesn't automatically make either of them wrong.

Re: The (AA) Playoff Picture
bison1 i totally agree lion-line was def. crossing the line. everyone needs to be put in there place every once in a while, but not constantly as ham and gunner do.
and gunner what does me being younger then you have to do with anything lol

Re: The (AA) Playoff Picture
I believe the amount of times they get "put in their place" is relative to the amount of times they "cross the line", wouldn't you agree?
Regardless of what you think, or what i think for that matter...all they're doing is voicing their opinion. We let Hollywood post "letssssssssss gooooooo eeeeeeers" at least 6 times a day. The easiest way to shut them up is to prove them wrong. Urge your team to read CRlionDawgs post about using the posts on here as "fuel for the fire". Let the comments made my doubters be the motivation needed to come out on top this weekend. Let them know that if they fail this weekend, more criticism will follow. If they want that prevented, simply win this weekend, prove to everyone that they're a team worth being talked about. If they can't do that for themselves, then there need not be anything done for them.
"Respect is earned not given"
Some of the Ridge faithful are simply asking for it, because they think it'd be nifty to have everyone respect every team. It just doesn't work that way...

Confidence is one person's eyes can be viewed as arrogance from another's point of view.
I agree with Bison1. The beauty of a message board is the opportunity and privilege to state your views in an open forum with "qualified and informedd" moderators.
I believe this forum is a healthy means of expression for the Bedford and surrounding communities. Where else can you sit in the your home or at college or in the classroom (hopefully not a business class), and talk sports with a somewhat intelligent crowd.
I know I enjoy the banter. Continue the good work those who contribute and those who administrate BC.
Back to the topic, any upset predictions in D6 AA?
