Pitt vs. Penn State....keep it HERE!

I've never used a pre-season poll to rip on PSU. In fact I really don't hold much stock in pre-season polls. But since frostlion brought it up. SI has only ONE Big Ten school in the top 13, BUT THERE ARE 2 BIG EAST TEAMS IN THE TOP 13. What do you think of that? TWO BIG EAST teams ranked HIGHER than Penn State and 9 other Big Ten Schools!!!!!

Hey, I've said it for the past year, WVU is the class of the Big East and saved the entire conference after Pitt stunk up the BCS the prior year.

I have no problem with WVU being ranked higher than Penn State.

just cuz the big east has more teams in the top 10 or so compared to the big ten's one, doesnt mean that the big east is a better conference... look at the overall depth of each conferences, the big ten has 4-5 teams that could contend for the league title and possibly 3 or 4 can compete for the national championship... the big east has west virginia and louisville, and although rutgers is turning around, thats it... some conference...

But what does that say about the Big Ten? You can't get more than ONE team in the top 13. Of course someone's gonna say that the Big Ten is so tough that the teams are going to knock each other off. But what does that have to do with pre-season rankings?
