Now that it is all out in the open, you think you guys would do something about it for next season if you want to win D5.

I gurantee Bedford will not win D5 next year.... or the year after for that matter. Bedford competes in D6 in soccer....

good point oneandonly
and as for doing something about the problem, that would require the skills of coach dean...only coach ive ever had that during offense/defense scrimmages, told the defense to knock someone on their @$$ if they held onto the ball too long...im sure someone else here remembers those times

I think they can... they've been to the finals 2 outta the 4 years they've been in the district. I don't expect them to win it, but they should be able to be one of the top 3-4 teams if they play as a team... pete

I wouldnt be counting out Forbes Road in district 5 because for the past couple years they have been putting up more wins than ever before and they are going to be even stronger next year. They beat McConnellsburg on McConnellsburgs home field so I wouldn't count out Forbes Road in District 5 If I were you guys...
Gunner18 wrote:township will once again be the team to beat in d5, mcconnelsburg always seems to b a pretty good team, especially when playing on their field. i wouldnt expect much from the other 2 county teams (everett, nbc), rockwood will b a strong contender as well this year. north star has been going down hill the past couple years, but i think a turn around should occur this upcoming season.

McConnellsburg will be even tougher this comin year, they're bringin back 9 returning starters plus they have atleast 4 letter winners from last year comin off the bench. They're only losing 2 seniors. All of they're defense is comin back the only spots they have to worry about is the strikers which wont be hard to fill because of their talented squad. Evan Mellott had 7 or 8 goals last year as a Freshman, Scott Nunemaker will be a Senior with a great deal of speed. Their midfield wont be easy to get through either. McConnellsburg has a great deal of speed, and strength. Trust me it will be hard to win on their field. Their team will be like the year they won districts with, but the only teams McConnellsburg will have to deal with is Conemaugh, Bedford, and possibly Forbes Road.

yes it will be tough to win in mcConnelsburg this comming year but also an advantage they have is that there field is so horrible that they are the only ones that is good on it.
