Jordan Miller to UPJ

Post by WPIAL~Titan »

Let me be the first to break this story: My exceptionally reliable District 5/6 sources tell me that CC's Jordan Miller will be a Mountain Cat. When Bobby "I recruit and sign guys who can't play D1" Jones resigned, that opened the door for Miller to attend UPJ. I think it'll be a good fit for him.

Wow...That really would be something and i hope your source is reliable. I think he's a great player, for the area, but i have always questioned whether or not he was D1. I'm not saying he's not I am just saying I'm not sure if he is.

I've seen Jordan play since middle school and he can definitely do better than UPJ. I guess it is a good fit if he wants playing time right away, but the kid has rarely been challenged. At CC he got significant playing time right away, committed to SFU, and then coasted through HS being the best player on the team and not worrying about impressing college coaches; and I think he'll do the same at UPJ. He would be better off going somewhere where he won't be the star recruit (like he will be at UPJ). That would atleast push him out of his comfort zone and might force his game up to a whole new level. But on the other hand, its great for UPJ basketball, I think he'll be one of their best ever before hes done. Good Luck!

ok, where's the youngster from Shaler gonna end up? I know he's a pup, but those phenoms usually get offers in like 9th or 10th grade.

does anybody know who was the main recruiter to get him to go to UPJ? Was it Billy Clapper or another coach?
