I gotta admit, I have a good feeling about this Texas team. I do think they have deficiencies, but they seriously might be the best team in the nation. They are not going to lose to Missouri, Oklahoma State, and especially not Texas Tech. Honestly, I was very impressed with how the playmakers on that UT team stepped up last weekend. They have a really, really good bunch of kids right now.
I'm worried about Boise State and Tulsa. We know Boise can beat these big-time programs, and they are going to be left out in the cold. Can't we get some sort of "Junior BCS" where teams like Boise and Tulsa can take on Pac-10 2 or Big Ten 2 or something? Seriously, are we going to let an undefeated Boise play in the Humanitarian Bowl against a team with 4 losses? This is ridiculous. Tulsa is in the same boat. So is Ball State!
Its just ridicuclous that Tulsa, whom I said all along was going undefeated, will go undefeated and take on someone like NC State in a bowl game that is completely pointless. You cannot hold teams responsible for the way their opposition plays.
Eliminate ALL tie-ins, rank the bowls from 1 to whatever, and go down the list letting everyone pick whoever they want.

I agree with you on all points, TAE. I really feel Texas will lose one of those three, but I am alright with that. I expected anywhere from 3-4 losses this season. If we can manage an 11-2 season, I would be very happy. All I really want is a BCS bowl. Anything they get after that is icing on the cake. It's been a crazy season and I have a feeling it's only going to get crazier. That's why I love this sport so much.
