Once again, CB cushions are killing Penn State. Musberger has even alluded to it. In addition to that, Rubin and Scirrotto are tough, working class players, but they are white boys who cannot keep up. How many times are people going to talk about these CB cushions and insane coverage before Mr. Untouchable Tom Bradley is accountable for it. I can't even tell you how disgusting it is. Pigheadedness yet again. Unreal.

Sometimes, you are lucky enough to have people around who see problems in advance, and if you are smart enough, you will listen to them. But in a lot of cases, as is the case with the auto industry, Penn State athletics, and even the Big Ten as a whole, you get to a point where your plan has worked pretty well in the past and you don't understand why its not working anymore. Penn State thinks they are doing it right. Now, its pretty apparent that they are not. Unfortunately for PSU and the Big Ten as a whole, they waited too long to make the transition into the modern game. And that's not just players and recruiting, its the mentality of the staff, the success philosophy moving ahead. Big Ten has 90% of their teams trying to make that transition, but they clearly are not there yet, nor should they be. This is gonna take a few years. You have to hit rock bottom to convince yourself that change needs to take place, if you are not smart enough to listen to the people around you ahead of time. So for the next few years, the Big Ten will take their lumps, and it is deserved since they failed to read the writing on the wall. Maybe a 60 point loss to USC will finally wake people up.

PSU's defense is making Mark Sanchez look like Peyton Manning. He has already thrown for over 400 yards. Is this the great defense that is played in the Big 10 that I have heard about all season? At least they helped Sanchez solidify his spot in the first round of the NFL Draft if he declares.

Are you done crying, yet? Your Big 10 has really shown up. Their defenses are just so good. Maybe Ohio State will step up and make up for PSU's poor performance today.

Not so fast D.....the nit wits can hang their hats on the fact they scored more points on USC's Defense than any other team this year.......now that should get them thru the new year!!! Little morale victories for them at this point are very important!!

That's true. We know moral victories are very important to PSU. Those are the type of victories that will get recruits to look at going there instead of USC. However, Oregon State did score more points than PSU. They found a way to get the win, too. But, but, but, look at JoePa's record in bowls when he has a month to prepare. He's the same guy that got the school a $10,000 fine and didn't talk to his players at all during the game. That's the coach I want.
