D.mcmurtrie-played AAABA ball this year, and went to floirda to play baseball for the baseball factory, then in football he seprated his throwing shoulder. do u think that he will be up and throwing hard when the season comes
C.swope- played AAABA ball also w/ mcmurtrie, and he also played legion ball w/ claysburg..swope is an all around player
z.morrow-played legion ball he has improve since last year
J.deluca- played for the altoon curve jr. league and also has improved
E.chamberlain-played for the altoon curve alson
D.dielh- played legion ball for claysburg
bubba hoey- is questionable he play for the school...but when he gets in to tight situations it's usually down hill from there.
S.rickabugh- is there any up date on him? did he play any summer leagues?
D.J Brown- is he playing he did good in the summer league?
top pitcher in D-5 will be
McMurtrie
Swope

What's a Tussey Mountain?

Tussey should have a really nice team this year. I would say they are one of the early favorites to win D5. I could see them advancing deep into the state playoffs with their solid pitching staff.

I'll agree they have a couple nice pitchers for district five. But to go deep in the state playoffs, I don't see it. Let's not forget Meyersdale handled Tussey in the semi's a year ago. They'll be a solid district five team though.

but u also have to remember that one of there key players didn't play in that game (mcmurtrie) that hurt them in that game.

first of all i hate replying to post started by someone then answered by the same person. i know a lot of kids that have gone to a lot of great camps or programs for any sport and have met alot of superstars. as a team chamberlain, swope are above average but to rant and rave about the rest is uncalled for i thought i was listening to windber at this site. the second post made it sound that there are seven standouts on single a team if this was the case they would have had better results coming up through. the icon bailey could claim this and people would listen but to be one and done at your best is not to good. as a team you have been just over '500 for the last couple of seasons. donelson shut you down as a team and to say mcmurtie did not play why did he not play this is not like football, wrestling, basketball or any other sport if there is an outstanding athlete in high school they contribute. westpac will rule next year ct/my

i would put any amount of money saying that TM will more then likely beat C.T this year if they play them in districts...

On paper, Tussey is the team to beat this coming year in D5.allforone wrote:westpac will rule next year ct/my
Also, you can't count out Northern Bedford. To be the man you've got to beat the man, and the three D5 titles in a row speaks for itself.

Matt Donaldson is the best baseball player in the district 5/6 area. The kid has all the tools...West Chester (DII PSAC) got a steal when they signed this kid early.
He will lead Myersdale through the Westpac, although maybe not as easily as in the past. CT will be down this year. The don't have much pitching, and their top player, Jarod Nanna blew out his knee in football.
I'll agree with S cube that NBC is still the team to beat in D5. As a whole though, this year the Westpac is more open than any other year. Don't forget about North Star either...

And the last thing I must tell you...NEVER QUIT!
