Re: Double Yoi for the Titans
I've been a Titans fan all my life, but that's not the reason why Tennessee's sooo bad. First of all, I didn't agree with the stomping of the towel - just made me hate Lendale even more.
Chuck Cecil (new DC) is no Jim Schwartz. Schwartz had the same personnel in there minus Haynesworth and fielded a top five defense. Now before you say it's Haynesworth, that's not the case. There were plenty of times our defense was great with him out. Big Al only played 55% of the snaps anyways.
Injuries are hurting the secondary. The Titans started two rookies at corner, Griffin was playing hurt, and the other two active cornerbacks were someone we signed off the streets just a few days ago and a practice squader. When Nick Harper was in there, Cecil had him playing on the opposing team's number one receiver 85% of the game. You don't do that when you have Cortland Finnegan on your team. Andre Johnson, Santonio Holmes and Jerricho Cotchery burnt Harper up and down the field and Cecil never switched them.
Kerry can get some of the blame, but more of it falls on the receivers and OC. The receivers - minus Kenny Britt, who looks like he'll be a great WR someday - drop everything. I think the kids we have at Everett this year have better hands than Justin Gage. But you still aren't going to win with the Titans when you have Kerry throw the ball 30+ times a game. The Titans have a great rushing attack with Chris Johnson and White, and yet we've become more of a passing team.
And most importantly, ever since losing to the Jets, the Titans have absolutely no heart out there. They kept it close with decent teams like the Steelers, Texans, and the afermentioned Jets, but it seemed like they never wnated to play the game against the Colts, Jags, and Pats. When the Titans are motivated, they aren't that horrible of a team, but when they aren't, you'll see what you saw yesterday.

Re: Double Yoi for the Titans
And before you ask how I became a Titans fan, I have family in Houston that got me into the Oilers instead of the Steelers. So I've followed them when they made the move to Nashville.
If you want my thoughts on the team (lol you probably don't care about the Titans, but oh well) just post a question in here and I'll give my opinion.
