Tyrone @ Central
Tyrone @ Central
Well, I think CHS might see the biggest crowd they've had in the last 10 or so years this Friday night. I have a feeling that parking in Roaring Spring is going to be fun on Friday night.
Time to get a thread on the game of the year in the MAC. This should be a dandy. I'm thinking Tyrone might be able to slow down Central based on the last two weeks. Can Central get the offense going again? Even if they wouldn't win, they need to get it going before the playoffs start.
I'm taking Coach Hoenstine's boys from Central in a dandy, 22-20.

Re: Tyrone @ Central
Central's offense doesn't seem as potent this year as it was last season. I don't know if Runk is still hampered by his knee injury from last year or what, but he doesn't seem as allusive to me. Also, Cafferty hasn't been as active on offense this season. Central really needs those two to get back on track if they want to make a run like last year. I got a feeling this week is the week...

Re: Tyrone @ Central
Ive been to all of central's home games this season and have picked up on some trends of the dragons. Runk for the most part as adjusted well at Quarterback although sometimes looks very confused. Saylor usually makes a big play for the dragons but misses balls that should be easily caught. Cafferty does not seem to be utilized the same way he was last year in the offense. On the defensive side of the boy Forshey and Leberfinger seem to make 15 to 20 tackles every game. Im also very impressed with there dline this season. Seems to be muched improved from last years dline.
Re: Tyrone @ Central
Forshey is the best defensive player I've seen this year. He's around the ball every play and doesn't miss many tackles.

Re: Tyrone @ Central
Just my .02 worth, but it seems as if they are asking too much of Runk this year. He was a great 1-2 punch with D Forshey at QB last year, but him trying to do the job of both players this year is more than he can deliver.Clearfield forced the issue with the decision making abilities at QB and they ended up getting 4 picks and a fumble out of it and a win. Look for Tyrone to do the same. I'll take Tyrone 35-16.

Re: Tyrone @ Central
Should be a dandy, game of year in MAC easily, possibly game of the year in all of D 5/6. Wish it wasn't such a far drive from Johnstown to Martinsburgh or thats where I'd be Friday since the Crushers have a bye. I think it'll be close the entire way through and that the fans will most certainly get their moneys worth.
Central- 30
Tyrone- 27
In overtime with the Eagles getting ball first being held to a fg then the Dragons have 4th and goal at the 1 go for it and get it on a 1 yard dive by Runk.
