Defense Alkwan Williams

defense-Alkwan Williams is an extremely talented linebacker for the trojans. He is among the top leaders in tackles for the laurel highlands and this kid is only a sophomore. Over the years this kid only tends to get better.

offense-Joshua Seidel-In my opinion Seidel is the best back in the highlands. He is an explosive back that can get the job done rather well.This kid does just about everything from receiving to rushing and even on special teams.We'll be watching him on saturdays next year.


honorable mentions for offense- Zak Newton is talented back but performed very poorly racking up only 16 yards on 12 carries!



honorable mentions for defense-I would mention Chaz Merrimam but seeing that he is roughly 20 years old I think that is unfair to the program.

I def agree with Captain Earth. Seidel has been nothing short of spectacular this year and has been the back offensive player this year.

The Crushers will be good next year but they were finally fall short to Johnstown.

I like Josh Seidel McCort on offense and Steve Popchak Westmont on D. These two kids play with total commitment and heart.
