Top LHAC Players of 2009
Top LHAC Players of 2009
I'm new to this bleachercoaches website but have been a fan of high school football for many, many years so I thought I would start my own topic. Now that the '09 regular season is over for the LHAC who do you believe were the best of the best in all of the local schools? Not just from following the Tribune Democrat with the legends of the fall, but the overall best guys in the area. QB's, RB's, WR's, TE's, LB's, and DB's. Lets see what you got and what everyone else thinks. Also, who should be some starters for the Ken Lantzy game for the Laurel Highlands??? Any thoughts people?

You guys are missing Steve Popchak on the defensive side of the ball. Just because WH went 2-8 he still was one of the LHAC leaders in tackles. He has to be the toughest safety in the league.

im a mccort fan, every1 who sees a post of mine can see that. although i dont post alot. but chrisitan leech? really? the kid is awful, he plays an ok zone but any dback should be able to. all his picks have come from mistaken throws by a quarterback, none worked for. his man coverage is awful, he cant stop any1 or make a tackle.

hahahah i dnt have kids? and i think its great that hes 15 and is playing a team the caliber of BMHS but top lhac player? no way
Re: Top LHAC Players of 2009
Stephen Popchak gets my vote for top player. Altough Westmont went 2-8 this kid played his heart out every game. He had over 100 tackles and 6o0 rushing yards. Popchak was all over the field on defense.
