Re: Regionals
Don't sleep on Thomas at 119. I think he will be right there with Alexander. Also Hough is in the weight and really tough.
Weircoich at 152 is undefeated and has beat McKillop twice I think. This is a very tough weight at regionals.

Re: Regionals
I agree 119 is loaded Alexander just placed hgher last year. Thomas and Hough will be a barn burner in the semis.
152 Mckillop beat Wiercioch 4-2 in the district finals.
Other notes D-7 lost 2 probable state Qs 135 Matt Tadish, 140 Colin Checkan.

Re: Regionals
Predictions:
103- Roberts(5, champ) dominates again
Roberts
Hough
Swarrow
Wilson
Patrick
112- Link(6, champ) wins in an exciting match over Elias(7, 2nd)
Link
Elias
Toth
Polacek
Brown
119- Very Loaded Weight Class...all three district champs will place at states..A Thomas(5, champ) vs Hough(6, champ) semi will be a dandy..I think that Thomas will manage to escape Hough and im being biased and ill pick him over Alexander(7, champ). This weight has at least 4 or 5 very high caliber kids in it.
Thomas
Alexander
Hough
Dively
Porter
125- Another fine semi-final here with lascari(5, champ) vs Myers(6, champ). With Maraka(7, champ) taking the top half of the bracket..ill take maraka over myers in the finals..myers looks hungry after the defeat at thomas..watch of heinrich(5, 2nd) to sneak in and get his ticket punched to hershey also
Maraka
Myers
Lascari
Sutton
Heinrich
130- Two clear finalists here with Martellotti(7, champ) taking a close one against garbinsky(6, champ)..id expect to see them high again on the podium at hershey..
Martellotti
Garbinsky
Morder
Hosselrode
Depalma
135- Another fine final here..and maybe a good semi match-up between blumer(7, champ) and ripple(5, champ).i dont see anyone in the state stopping schopp(6, champ) this year..i think he will dominate blumer in the final..after that coming back for the top 5 will be difficult..with kushner(6, 2nd), claar(6, 3rd), drabick(7, 2nd), and fleming(7, 3rd) all trying to get on that podium..
Schopp
Blumer
Kushner
Claar
Ripple
140- Steinburg(6, champ) is back this year and will have a pretty straight path to the finals..but the bottom half of the bracket gets a little bit tougher..with potential quarterfinals match-ups featuring Innes(7, champ) vs District 6 runner up Lohr(who has a win over District V champ Shane)..and Brydon(6 3rd place) vs Shane (5, champ)..then the winners of them meeting in the semi's...
Steinburg
Innes
Shane
Lohr
Baker
145- Ripple's(5, 2nd) lost last nite may have cost him to trip to the regional finals..because i dont see him getting by District seven champ Nick Carr in the semi's...in the lower half i see perich(6, champ) getting past Schilinski(7, 2nd) to reach the finals..then a wide open race after that.
Perich
Carr
Ripple
Aungst
Schilinski
152- Im going to go with a small upset here i think..Ill take McKillop(7, champ) over Blankenship(6, 2nd) in the top half semi-finals..on the lower side ill take gibbons(5, champ) over Wiecioch(7, 2nd)...i also see that the D-6 champ(Harris) only has one loss
Gibbons
McKillop
Wiercioch
Harris
Blankenship
160- In the top half ill take Guidi(7, champ) over McCrum(6, 2nd)..on the bottom half i see Gallaher(6, champ) over Demain(7, 2nd)..a Guidi vs Gallaher final will be exciting for a 160 pound match..
Gallaher
Guidi
McCrum
Demain
Dibert(my only majorly biased pick)
171- Top half features another person im predicting to finish high on the podium..Matt Cunningham(7, champ) i forsee a semi-final match against Kephart(6, runner-up)..on the bottom half i see Deslauriers(7, 2nd place) vs Burnheimer(6, champ)..i see a cunningham vs burnheimer match-up in the finals with cunningham winning by being very physical
Cunningham
Burnheimer
Kephart
Deslauriers
Kazalas
189- Kiefer(7, champ) has dominated all year and i expect the same here as he will defeat Newton(6, 2nd) in the semi-finals and then knock off Dudley(7, 2nd) in the finals.after dudley beats glessner(6, champ) in the semi's
Kiefer
Dudley
Newton
Glessner
Carl
215- One of the weigher weights throughout the tournament depthwise...i see Beattie(7, champ) defending his number one ranking as he rolls through suter(5, 2nd) in the semi's then Fortson(6, champ) in the finals. Forton will have to get through Campbell(7, 2nd) in the semi's though
Beattie
Forton
Suter(if healthy)
Campbell
Meier
**if suter not healthy add Craig(5, champ) to the list
285- Another re-match of the thomas final in the regional final..with rizzo coming through the top half with a win over malcomb(7, 2nd) in the semi's.. and Tarley(7, champ) coming through the bottom half with a win over Duplin(6, 2nd) in the semi's
Rizzo
Tarley
Duplin
Malcomb
Oshaben
.these are my predictions..tried to be as unbiased as possible lol
103- Roberts(5, champ) dominates again
