Does anyone know if R. Zimmerman, formerly of Tussey Mountain, tried to extend his basketball playing time at the college level?

No he is not playing anywhere.

After seeing the way he played I always thought he would be more suited to put the pads on and be a great safety. The kid was a tremendous competitor. I'll never forget their game against Clairton at UPJ. Seeing them and Shade win a couple of state games for little D5 was a good night.

Great kid but certainly had no interest in playing football. As far as I know he is going to ACM. The rumor was that he was going to play there and then transfer to Ship.
