Will District 5 score against Clairton?
Will District 5 score against Clairton?
As Clairton is rolling toward a third WPIAL title and a second straight state title, will the district 5 champion be able to put points on the board. Only three teams have scored against the Bears, 6 twice and 7 once. A tough task ahead for someone.

Not only will the D5 champion score on Clairton, but if the champion is Berlin, they will pull off the upset. Berlin has just the team to match up with Clairton and will be able to pull of the upset with their run game. Without an upset in the D5 bracket, Berlin rolls over Clairton 28-21

Why does youngbuck always have to come on here and bash the weaker teams and less talented players??? I don't recall anyone bashing a certain quarterback from about seven or eight years ago and highlighting his flaws on a constant basis.

Clairton would win the LHAC this year. Berlin will fair the same as CT last year against Clairton. 56 - 6 Bears over Berlin and 70 - 0 over anyone else. Not trying to be mean, they are much better than last year's state championship team and in my opinion could manhandle FH and Johnstown this year also

I am not trying to take a shot at D5 here but I'm not so certain that an all start team from D5 would school on Clairton this year.

This Berlin team is as good as the Northern Bedford team of the early 90s that made a deep run into the A state playoffs. Berlin will be a formidable opponent for Clairton, and will be able to control the time of possession with their running game. You heard it here first...Berlin 28 Clairton 21 in a D5 legitimizing upset of the WPIAL champion.

Don't count out Rochester beating Clairton. I know Clairton scroes have been ridiculous, but their conference is supposed to be the worst by far in the WPIAL. Rochester could knock them off. That being said, Berlin would probably only score against either one if the game was over and they put their JV in. I also wouldn't count out any of the other 3 teams winning D5.
