Thursday at 11pm
WJAC talks with Brandon, Don, and the Bailey's about the bailey bowl.
Re: Thursday at 11pm
Interesting to?
This game will be decided by the kids on the field.
I heard someone congratulate a local coach on a big win and his reponse was " why are you congratulating me I did not play a single down, this game is about the kids."

Then don't blame a coach for a loss.

Re: Thursday at 11pm
correct me if I'm wrong but the coach calls all the plays for the kids and tells them how to be better on offense/defense. the coach is almost as important as the kids playing on the field.

Both OUTSTANDING coaches in my opinion.
This has to be one of Don's best jobs he's ever done. Going from 2-3, to Mansion Park is a fantastic. This is not a overly talented bunch, nor does he have his usual size, but he played it like a typical Ranger team. Donohughe is going to be a player for the rest of his career. Shope gutted out a warrior like season with more tape and padding on his knee then anyone around.
Brandon played to his strengths this season. He has athletes across the board, and found ways to use them all. He can go 5 wide one set, to a full house "diamond" backfield the next play, and not lose anything. He is a risk taker, and I love that about him.
No doubt going into the game, Richland has more talent. But, it can seriously go either way with Don's game planning.

I have to agree about Shope. I saw him against Central and that dude played his guts out. You could tell by the way he walked that he wasn't 100%, but when the ball was snapped he was giving everything he had, making a pretty good Central secondary look pedestrian.

The Buck seems like one miserable dude. Always looking at the negative side of things or is never impressed with anything
Bailey Bowl is a great story. How many father and sons get to experience something like this? Just wondering if the two of them talked any football at the dinner table today.
