I agree with your predictions here. Two great semifinal games. Don't overlook northern cambria though. If they get hot, they can beat anyone. Penn cambria is senior oriented also and will be a tough out for mccort.

Penn Cambria and McCort were tied in their regular season match with about 5 minutes left in the game. Trexler went down, and Penn Cambria ended the game on a 10-2 type run. If they are both healthy, it will be neck and neck.

Yah, I agree with you. It will go down to the wire. Keagy, behe, and lawhead are decent also and are seniors and play well with leahey. If nemo gets in foul trouble, that will kill mccort.

Don't be surprised if Cambria Heights gets to the semifinals.
Re: D6SN Class AA Boys playoff preview
You didn't do the aaa preview with all 3 of those teams. Ha ha. What a joke. They would be better to go into the aa for better teams to play.

I have a AAA championship preview typed up. Was really shocked Bedford entered. I'll wait until the championship game is set to release it.

I wouldn't be shocked if Heights made it there.

Boy, heights looked bad though a couple weeks ago when somerset went down there and took it to them. They are up and down, but have two great scorers in vescovi and bearer. Not much scoring after that. Maybe the hoppel boy as the other.

WPIAL AA is as weak as it has been in over a decade. If 6AA is to win a few PIAA games vs. WPIAL opponents, this would be the year to do it. McCort gave the #2 seed in the WPIAL AA tourney Greensburg CC all it could handle at GCC last night. Granted, it was a meaningless game for GCC and GCC has played an ultra-weak schedule making for a gaudy record, but that game showed that McCort could hang around with a "solid" WPIAL team...and don't forget that Penn Cambria and Richland in the 6AA field have already beaten McCort. That bodes well for 6AA's strength this year.
District 10AA West Middlesex has a very solid team led by 6'4" do-it-all Matt Doogan.
McCort had better not overlook Central of Martinsburg. Reggie Nevins can coach it up, and even though he has a lot less talent thatn McCort, I look for that to be a decent game.
