Is combining the two districts even a remote possibility ?? If that would happen, which personally I don't see happening, so much trouble would arise from it. I'm sure there would be trouble in school between the kids, parents mad because some would feel there would be favoritism in athletics, and many other problems. It would probably somewhat reflect the problems that occurred when public schools integrated back in the day.

How can you say Bedford would need a bigger school when you can fit the entire Hyndman senior class in a single classroom. According to my calculations Hyndman would only add 2-3 students to each period

Bedford figures the only way they will be able to defeat Chestnut Ridge (wrestling) the next few years is to close Hyndman and send the wrestling team to BHS
