AAU

Post by WinnersCircle »

It's that time of year again and Winner’s Circle Basketball Academy will be having AAU tryouts and team placements starting on 02/22/14 at Ferndale High School. Please take a look at the website and encourage any player interested in playing AAU basketball this off season to register. Thanks

How much does it cost to buy a child a spot on an AAU team?

I would like to think that all spots are earned, but it cost $275 per player. We will also give the parents an opportunity to fundraise individually for their child to cover the $275 cost.

AAU teams are now a dime a dozen. If you can afford $275 you can find a team for your kid.

That's a small price to pay, to allow a youngster to be apart of team and pursue there dreams of becoming a better player . And if you cant afford it there is always church type leagues or other options to keep playing to try and better your skills.

But when do the ages cut off. My son turns 12 on 9/7 and is currently in 5th grade. Would he be an 11 or 12?
