Penn State Recruiting 2016
Penn State's class in 2015 is Top 10 at the moment and barring something drastic happening, it will more than likely finish that way.
However, the 2016 class might be even better.
So far, the Franklin has added
25th ranked player in the country in 4 star/5 star DE Shane Simmons out of Washington, DC
42nd ranked player in the country in 4 star RB Miles Sanders out of Pittsburgh
Franklin wants to lock down Pittsburgh and the DMV. By getting the top 2 kids to commit at each location, he now has 18 months to have them commit other players from those areas. Pittsburgh and the DMV are really strong recruiting areas for 2016.

Re: Penn State Recruiting 2016
Surprised only 2 WPIAL players landed on the Rivals 250, thought a few more would garner that attention. Rivals will shuffle the deck a few times before its final though.
Miles Sanders is a good back, and Damar Hamlin is a very good secondary prospect for Central Catholic. Only those 2 got the nod for the top 250 from Pittsburgh.
Kaezon Pugh from Aliquippa is very good, and could work his way up that high. Pitt and WVU have offered already. 6-1 205 RB/LB
Khaleke Hudson from McKeesport has Pitt, WVU, and Cincinnati offers. 5-11 205 pound athlete
Jeremiah Jones from Woodland Hills has NC State and Indiana offers 6-0 198 Athlete.
Aaron Mathews 6-5 190 WR from Clairton. He's my pick to jump to a four star by the end of the season.
There's a few big lineman out there that could get recognition as they play their junior years, sometimes the big time lineman don't develop until their junior years.
SO Pittsburgh area recruiting has some players right now, they could grow into even more higher profile players as the season progresses and next off-season's camps get completed.

Hamlin stated Penn State is his leader after his last visit. I expected Pittsburgh to have more on the top 250, as well. I expect Matthews to go to Pitt. I believe he will eventually be a 4 star. The rest of the Pittsburgh crew I am not sure about. LB Ron George and OL Youngblood are good prospects.

Yeah, Central Catholic and Woodland Hills are loaded coming up. Seeing one of those games could have double digit D1 guys on the field at one time.
