Because they beat an unranked 6-4 team by 4? Not saying FSU doesn't have the talent to win the playoff but the fact they keep squeaking by near .500 teams doesn't impress the committee. Also as another person stated, their non-conference wins don't look quite as good anymore with Okla St projected to finish 5-7 and Notre Dame with 3 losses and counting.

As long as they are undefeated, they'll make it and that's all you can really hope for if your an FSU fan.

JMO but it looks like the committee has it right as of this week.
As long as a team is in the top four, I don't think it really matters where they are 1 through 4. There is no home field advantage, and all four teams are going to be good. A team will have to win two games to win it all regardless. So does it really matter what spot you are in? The challenge is making the top four.

Florida State continue to edge out bad opponents. BC had them dead to rights and blew it.
