BC girls

Congrats to the Bishop Carroll girls on a big win against the University of BG. I heard some BG people tell me that Carroll beating them during the summer league was a fluke. Well, maybe not so much. BC is a young, talented, well coached team while BG is a young, talented, focused on one player team that hasn’t been very well coached to date. No excuses for the losses they have with that roster. They are a dysfunctional “family” right now and nobody will address the problem. When that talent is made to play as a TEAM watch out. Until then they will be very good but never reach their full potential.

Alyssa Martinazzi is probably the best freshmen in the area that I have seen. BC will only continue to get better not only this year but beyond.

Beating Univ. of BG is a Big Win for BC. They are a good team, but have not been able to beat the power houses. They lost to McCort and was destroyed by Blairsville. This is huge step for BC. Martinazzi is good, very good, but what makes her look better are her teammates. BC works for good shots and they get the ball to the girls who can make those shots. BG is a ONE GIRL SHOW and a few teams are figuring out how to stop BG. Regardless, I am not a fan of any of the Bishops! I just dislike BG the most. Taking the cliche…History repeats itself….Look for BC to be another University.

Probably just an oversight on your part, BC also dropped 1 at home to the Lady Rangers, who then turned around and got pasted at BG. Lots of parity at the top of the league, anyone can beat anyone else on a given night. Bring your A game every night or lose.

Many things are sad about BG and the way they do things. That’s how they portray themselves academically and conduct themselves athletically in girls basketball. They’ve earned the title.

Sorry, I seem to have touched a nerve. Feel free not to read any of my posts. Ignorance is turning your head and looking the other way as BG continues to do their thing. Your right there is help available, it’s called the PIAA but they are not much help at all. I think that is funny that you read my posts and chirp from time to time. I can tell it’s personal with you, betrayal and selfishness are not what leads to good teamwork. Picking the easiest path to success has its consequences later in life.
