Attending NCAA regional basketball

Post by footballfan1 »

I was just curious of any members on this site who has attended regional NCAA games and if it was a good experience. I am about 35 minutes from Jacksonville FL and I am seriously thinking about attending Friday's games. I don't know who officially will be playing in Jacksonville yet, but I would assume it would be a pretty neat experience?

I've been to games at the Civic Arena and Consol. Personally I had a great time. Enjoyed rooting for the underdog low seed for the upset always. And It was an opportunity for me to see North Carolina play which is the team I root for in college basketball so that was a bonus.

I've been to the first/second round multiple times, my favorite event to attend. I'm going to Pittsburgh on Thursday to see the games.

Been to a couple over the years. If you are a basketball fan, it is a good time. It is even more fun, if you attend the games with someone who has bet heavily on the games.
