High School Hoops Power Rankings 1-24
AAA
1. Hollidaysburg 13-1
2. Somerset 13-4
3. Johnstown 10-5
4. Forest Hills 10-6
Hollidaysburg has been the pacesetter this season. They are having a tremendous season, but will really be challenged this week with road games at Gettysburg and undefeated Latrobe. By this time next week, we may know how good this team really is.
The defending champs have played solid basketball this season, and have rolled through the LHAC with ease for the most part. Somerset has played four games out of state, compiling a 1-3 record with games in South Carolina and West Virginia. Those are the type of games that should help come playoff time.
Johnstown has played well at times, but have struggled during others. They are beating the teams they are supposed to beat, but they are searching for a big win to hang their hat on heading into the playoffs. They have road contests at Richland and Bedford this week, neither will be easy but the Trojans should win.
Forest Hills is riding a five game winning streak including some good wins over Huntingdon and Bishop McCort. Assuming things hold up, the Rangers will make their way into the playoffs for the first time since 2011 I believe.

1. Berlin Brothersvalley 12-0
2. Chestnut Ridge 13-3
3. Everett 8-6
Berlin is having a pretty ridiculous athletic year to date when you consider their run in football. It has continued with an undefeated start in basketball. They have a three game week on the horizon, but I would think they should be expected to beat Meyersdale and Southern (MD). Conemaugh Vally could them trouble, or otherwise I think they could be 15-0 this time next week.
Chestnut Ridge is having a good run with a 13-3 record, but remember Berlin handled them back in December. We'll see if they can close the gap as the season heads into the stretch run. They will head to McConnellsburg in hopes to avenge one of their losses, and welcome a very good Southern Fulton to town as well.
Everett rounds out the top three, as they are the only other team with a current winning record. They have played a difficult schedule, but have won four of their last five games. They'll go to McConnellsburg, host Bedford before a big game with Northern Bedford on Friday night.

1.West Branch 13-1
2.Bellwood 14-2
3.Penns Valley 12-3
4. Bishop McCort 10-5
5. Tyrone 9-4
6. Westmont 10-6
7.Richland 9-6
8. Central Cambria 8-8
West Branch has been the team this year. Since an early season road loss to West Branch, the Warriors have been on a roll. This team is for real, and has the potential to make a little noise post District Six, assuming they aren't upset or anything like that. They go to Williamsburg and Mt Union this week while hosting Glendale. I'd have to assume they'll be 16-1 if all the games are played.
Bellwood-Antis is definitely the one team that can give West Branch troubles. It was close in the first meeting, and many think every game will be that way with these two teams. They play a solid Williamsburg team this week.
As usual, Penns Valley has run up an impressive regular season record. Terry Glunt's teams are always solid. They have some big games left this season, including two with Tyrone, and one each with Central and Clearfield. We will find out what this team is made of down the stretch.
Bishop McCort appears to be the frontrunner among the LHAC AA teams. They hold wins over Westmont, Richland, Central Cambria and Penn Cambria to date. The tricky part will be beating Westmont and Richland a second time. The Crushers are good, but have some tough games left on the schedule.
Tyrone is always in the middle of things, and this year is no different. They are a step behind Bellwood and West Branch, as they have lost to both already. They are more than capable of getting revenge down the line, though.
Westmont has given West Branch their lone blemish, so we know they can play with anyone. The Hilltoppers end the year with 5 section games and a road game against a hot Forest Hills team. It won't be easy.
Richland hit a little wall in early January with a four game losing streak, but they have righted the ship it seems. They play host to Johnstown and travel to Westmont this week in some big inter-city rivalry games.
Central Cambria has done some good and bad things, hence their .500 record. They are dangerous though, and have a chance to finish the year strong.

Fair warning, I do know the schedule for Monday may be screwed up still due to the snow. The McCort-Bedford game has already been called, so some areas that were hit hard may not play tomorrow.

D6 A?
D5 A?
Or don't they matter because they're small schools?

Actually I just went to bed before I got that far, but if you've ever kept up with any stuff on this site or D6SN - I generally spend more time with class A and AA than anything.
Furthermore, someone has been keeping up with D6A this season, I don't want to steal his thunder since he's done a good job, I'll try and do a D5A later on.
(Somewhat on topic, what is McConnellaburg's record? They don't really do Maxpreps)

1. Shanksville-Stonyckreek 11-1
2. McConnellsburg 11-2
3. Southern Fulton 12-3
4. Shade 7-6
5. Conemaugh Township 7-6
Shanksville has been the team this year. The opened the year with some big wins over Somerset and Freeport, and have kept that pace ever since. They look to be in cruise control at the moment, but have another showdown with Berlin in a few weeks, in hopes to avenge their only loss.
Southern Fulton is always one of the teams to beat in D5 A. Kent Hendershot's teams are tough and well coached. They have three big games this week with Northern Bedford, McConnellsburg, and Chestnut Ridge.
McConnellsburg has been very impressive this season as well, with their lone losses coming to Southern Fulton and the Maryland School for the Deaf.
After a 1-4 start, Township has found their stride lately and could be a dangerous team come playoff time. Three road games this week will tell a lot about this team.
Shade essentially has beaten the teams they were supposed to, and lost the games to teams that should beat them. They do need a big win or two to validate themselves a bit, and they have a tough slate the rest of the season, so they will get their chances.
