LHAC Boys Basketball So Far
Seems to be a free for all so far this season as no clear team has really emerged as "the best" at this point.
BG, BC, Penn Cambria, Richland, Central, Bedford and Ridge (in no particular order) all seem to be on the relatively same level currently.
Not sure what is going on in Johnstown, for a school who's "athletes all quit football to focus on basketball", they really seem to be struggling early on this year. They may be a bigger surprise to me than how good Bishop Carroll has been playing.
CC, Forest Hills, Westy, and McCort all look like they will be able to compete as well and not be easy, show up and win games for some teams.
Somerset seems to be alone at the bottom and by the looks of things in Patton, Cambria Heights got out of the conference at a good time, they've struggled in the Heritage thus far.
Thoughts? Who is the team to beat?

I’ve been impressed with Penn Cambria. Nice wins over Johnstown, Westmont, and Central, in conference, and Conemaugh Township out of conference.
I would say that we should give Johnstown some time. They lost so many kids the last two years, I think only 1 or 2 players have ever played in a varsity game before this year. I’m sure they will right the ship.
