3 on 3 Tourneys

Post by fastbreak20 »

Johsntown YMCA holds one every Spring, Indiana has a tourney in early May, and Windber holds one during the summer. Also, Pittsburgh/Eat-N-Park holds a huge all-age tourney at Station Square evry July. Sorry, I can't provide the dates on these.

3 on 3

Post by Tapp »

FreakShow,
We tried to put together a 3 on 3 tourny once before, it is very complicated to make one that runs smoothly. It really isn't worth the work.

The Johnstown YMCA has a really good one this week and the one in Windber is outstanding. I have been going to the one in Windber for 6 years now. Very good competition and very well run. It is organized, they have food and drinks for sale. Everyone gets a shirt. They usually have it the second or third week in July. I'll post again when I find out more info.

I think we can have one at the NBC outdoor courts if we decide on a day and time. It could have a small entry fee that would go towards BleacherCoaches.com

The courts at NB aren't too bad. The rims might need new nets and there is a crack down the middle of the court, but other than that, they're nice. They also have lights there so we can let the games run into the night.
