district 5 A- shanksville, southern fulton, or conmaugh township-2 of those 3

district 5 AA- windber, north star (mayb chestnut ridge if they get lucky)

District 6 A- no clue

D6 AA- McCort, Westmont ( i haven't decided on a 3rd yet)

D6 AAA- Johnstown, Central Cambria (i haven't decided on a 3rd yet)

D6 AAAA- only gets 1 team so its to close to call

for D6 aa or AAA i dont know if forest hills is AA or AAA but they could make a run for the 3rd spot along with central and again i dont know their classication

D6 AAA- The Rangers return their entire starting 5, less 1 guard that started less than 1/2 the games.

In District 6-AA......Mark it down, mail it in, whatever you have to do. Blairsville will waltz through District 6-A. They return 4 starters including one of the best players in all of D6 junior Adam Heiberger. Heiberger is already being recruited by Pitt-Johnstown. Blairsville had one of the best young teams in D6-AA last year. They stumbled in the playoffs, which will happen with young teams. Next season they drop down to single-A.

JustDunkIt (and others interested)

District 5-A gets three state qualifiers this year not two:

Look for Shanksville, Conemaugh Twp. and S.Fulton to be the favorites for those spots with McConnellsburg and N.Bedford as sleepers.

5-AA only gets one qualifier: On talent alone the favorite should be Bedford but Windber and North Star are lurking closely and C.Ridge and Everett could both be considered sleepers.

6-A Blairsville will be tough to beat and no other legit contenders are around...Juniata Valley and Conemaugh Valley have potential.

6-AA McCort, Westmont, Guilfoyle, and Penn Cambria would be the favorites to get the 4 state berths. Tyrone would be among the most likely list of sleepers

6-AAA Central Cambria and Johnstown should own this division although somebody (IV/Lewistown...if they stay in D6 and don't win an appeal to bolt to Dist. 4) are other candidates. Forest Hills is at best, a sleeper.

6-AAAA who cares, only 4 teams! 1 state berth and will enter the eastern bracket. State College should have enough back with Kanaskie and Meister to get it done but I doubt they go very far in a much tougher eastern bracket.

I would add to HR's good summary to watch Bishop Carroll in 6A. They have size and a few athletic/talented guards. How the change in coaches will affect them is yet to be determined, but they definitely have the personell to be top contender.

im not even going to try to pick D5 cause its usually the same teams each year

D6A- BLAIRSVILLE!!!, other strong teams are, Saltsburg, C. Valley, Juniata, Homer Center, Ferndale Definately has a chance
MY PICKS, Blairsville....the rest will lay its self out

D6AA - Just McCort and Westmont? come on what about Bishop Guillfoyle? and Ligonier? Marion Center always has a competative team...
MY PICKS...McCort, Bishop Guilfoyle and FOREST HILLS a new team to AA

D6AAA - Johnstown, not Central Cambria sorry, Lewistown, and Indian Valley, definately not CC because they lost key components...Meseros is back yes but CCs winning season isnt
MY PICKS, JTown, Lewistown, Indian Valley
