Post by Lion-line05 »

I guess it doesn`t matter what you do in the regular season it`s what you do in the Playoffs that counts!!!!

The book says play for the tie, and if you lose in OT it's bad luck.
But play for the victory in regulation and lose? You're a bad coach

Ok, lionline, were you at the game? I'm guessing no since how fast this topic has been up. If you weren't, then you missed a great high school football game. Bedford did everything that it could do to lose this game, and they did. Turnovers inside redzone, missed extra points and fieldgoals, drops in the endzone for touchdowns. The point is, if you leave a team like CC hang in a game, it is going to hurt you, and hurt you badly. Bedford was up 28-14 early in the third quarter, forced a 3 and out by CC and had field position, they failed to score anypoints. If you don't capitilize on opportunities like that, things will start to fall in the opponents direction. Bedford outplayed CC, Bedford outplayed Bedford. It's a real shame to have a perfect season go down the tubes, leave the refs out, Bedford didn't do what it takes to beat a good team, and that's why they will be sitting at home next friday and saturday...

I know, did I not say that? Another fact of the matter is that you have yet to play your game. Keep jumping on Bedford, it doesn't matter, you can never take away from what they have accomplished this year. Congratulations CC, beat the snot out of FH or BM next week, you played a great game and deserved to win. Good luck next week...

Did Swaim say "congratulations" to Gironda after the game?

By the way. I thought the old adage was "Go for the win on the road, go for the tie at home".

I doubt the refs had anything to do with it ... although playoff refs may see things a little differently then the regular "home boys".
