Bellwood v. Camp Hill

Post by southpaw »

Thoughts and predictions about Bellwood playing the District 3 Champ Camp Hill this weekend.

I think the game is at Mansion on Friday night.

They stand as good a shot as anyone. They are pretty healthy, and rolling, ...I'll take B-A 20-13.

No offense to Bellwood but I hope you lose because you have the ugliest set of blue and gold uni's I have seen. Next to Claysburg and Ridge.

Absolutely no clue, but if Bellwood can roll right over Bishop Carroll, they must have something going right. I know I've seen Camp Hill in the state playoffs before, but I have absolutely no clue what they do or how they do it. The only thing I know is they must be pretty good to get this far, but that goes for Bellwood too.

I guess "Rolling over" someone means winning by a touch down?

They're 11-1 and the D3 champ. That's about it.

Rolling over means winning period. Now, if I'd said annihilate, destroy, utterly dominate, etc., that'd have to be by about 3 TDs or so to qualify. Rolling over means rolling in the sense of winning and making it to the next game, just to clarify.

That's about it? What kind of offense do they run? Have a tough defense? Weak secondary? Questionable quarterback? Who did they beat so far? What's their colors and mascot?

If I had to guess I'd say Camp Hill was red and white. Predominantly red. Red helmets, white facemasks. Red shirts, white pants with a stripe. Mascot? Hmm... something human. I'll guess either something like a pioneer, or an indian. Anyone else have any guesses?

Here is the scoop I heard. They have a 2000 yd QB this season. yes he has thrown for around 2000. Running game has produced around 1900 yds on the ground this season. That is all I have heard but that sounds pretty impressive BUT I like Bellwoods toughnesss and the fact it is being played in Altoona.
