whoa...take it easy there buddy, i doubt anyone from the AFC could have stopped New England this year in the championship, they're on a heck of a roll but i think the steelers will bounce right back next year. I don't think Big Ben is a fad...he'll be there as long as the steelers can afford to keep him. So good win for the Pats and good luck vs. the eagles in a couple weeks.

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

And Vanilla Ice was just on the Surreal Life last year..
Sarcastically congratulating the Steelers on a great season is kind of absurd, being that they are one of only 3 teams ever to go 15-1.
There's no excuse for losing this game, i dont care what kind of roll NE was on, Pittsburgh won 15 straight. Yeah it's hard to win that many games in a row, but all of the excuses should be thrown out. Pittsburgh was supposed to have their "bad game" out of the way (NY Jets), soundly beat the Pats earlier this season, and when you play AND win 15 games in a row (Big Ben), the rookie excuse just doesnt have the same effect, especially when he didnt start making mistakes until about a month ago.
It was a great season, but an even bigger dissapointment not making it to the SuperBowl.

It's an even bigger disappointment for Steeler fans since they beat both teams that are playing for the Super Bowl.

New England was the better team yesterday, Pittsburgh was the better team on Halloween. On any day in the NFL any team can win, and they came prepared and smacked the Steelers in the mouth. Randel El was up at the mall today, not signing anything, it is a shot to the heart. Building blocks, and hopefully they can learn from this....

oh yes... it feels so nice to be right! not many of you would know that feeling... haha... i want to know what happened to the steelers beating the pats because they did earlier in the season... uhh so much for that! the pats are the number 1 team and they are going to go to the super bowl and beat the eagles just like they beat the steelers last night... i feel bad for all the steeler fans who went out and bought a ben roethlisberger jersey... what a waste... oh well... you can't be as smart as me.... haha... go patriots!

The problem for the Steelers was simple. They were not playing their best football at the end. They barely beat the Jets and then lay an egg against the Pats. Yes, they did beat both the Eagles and Pats over two months ago, but the Eagles and Pats are playing great football now and the Steelers are not.
