yea its early but after seeing the results from the D6 meet, i figured id start this....going off of last years results, kanuch has a chance to place 3rd as a a team all by himself...after running a 10.7 100, 21.97 200, 22-2.5 long jump and 47-4 triple jump, he could all but assure him self of 4 golds next weekend....wow

Doing 4 events at states is definitely a difficult thing to do but, Kanuchs 4 events and mocks events were a little different. Believe me i am in no way saying it isn't hard to do any 4 events at states b/c it is, i know first hand. I did all the same events as kanuch but instead of the 100 i did the 400. Day 1 isn't so bad but, come day two your pretty miserable. If I were Kanuch, I would do all 4 this year and depending on how he does, choose which events you want to focus on your senior year. But I think he is capable of getting the gold in all 4, and if he suceeds I would definitely do the same next year.

if he can win all 4 this year i would prob try to concentrate on 1 or 2 and try to break state records cuz i'm sure he's close in some of them!

I think he will be fine in doing all 4 events. It's a lot different than running 400s and distance. If he is in the last flight of the jumps, he can always get away with jumping his best in the first jump and scratch the rest if he is that far ahead; however, it won't be that simple at states.

He ran all 4 last year so im sure he will do the same this year. And last years champs aren't as good this year (El Myers- at least according to their showing at the Ship Invite this year) so it may not take as many points to win this year.

I'd say gold in three events (100, 200, triple jump) and at least a bronze in the long jump. There may be (probably will be) somebody that jumps about 22'6" or so, but he might beat them too.
