I threw up this morning when I read that. I don't like the Redsox(GOOOOO PIRATES!!!!), but they are more stomach-able than the F)$(*ng Yankee's.

What is a Yankee?

The same thing as a quickie, except you can do it by yourself!

The rich get richer. They still can't win the championship without pitching. When it comes playoff time, they are going to need better pitching than what they have now.

Agreed, but when you can score 8 runs a game, you can have, and be successful with mediocre pitching.

Yes, and not win the World Series. As we've seen, the past how many years? They haven't won it for 5 and have had twice as good as players as the teams they were up against. It's all about the pitching when it comes playoff time. You won't score 8 runs in the playoffs against Pedro.

I had heard that Bernie Williams was possibly considering retirement, I guess the Yankees prompted him a little more with this move...

Pedro won't be making it with the Mets anytime soon.
