D5 Rankings

As I posted on the LH blog, here is my top six for the upcoming D5 duals:

1) Chesnut Ridge
2) North Star
3) Bedford
4) Northern Bedford
5) Everett
6) Tussy Mountain

Looks about right to me. Unless Bedford can pull the upset of CR next thursday. Then the top 3 could go about anyway. But as of now as long as CR wins I agree.

That's great that Everett will be in the D5 duals. This continues to prove my theory that this district sucks.

They lost to Portage last night. Maybe Portage should take their 8 guys to d5 and win a title.

Just because one team isn't that great doesn't mean the rest of the district is crap. Look at Ridge and North Star I don't think any LH team would want to go against these teams.

Yeah they look great until the end of the season when they lose to a team that actually wrestled some competition durning the year.

So I'll be waiting to hear the excuses this year. And you say one bad team....how about every team except maybe ridge and north star. wow is it going to be a ridge and ns dual meet at district finals??

So how's Central's wrestling program doing these days?

What teams do Central wrestle? If i recall the CT Holiday Tourn. Central did not fair so good against the D5 teams. Where does that place you? If you can't back it up shut up. There was a time that D5 was tough. Some of the teams are week. There are four strong teams in D5 that would pound the guts out of Central and you have the nerve to get on here and say how bad D5 is. You are PATHETIC.

So far Bedford has beaten CC and Richland, two teams considered in the hunt in D6. CR destroyed FH. My guess is there is not a team, except maybe Tyrone, in D6 that can compete with D5's top teams this year.
